God created Adam and brought all the animals to him to name. Adam needed to learn what God already knew: "It is not good for man to be alone.” God made Adam a mate—a companion who was like him and would be with him and for him in ways that no animal could ever be.
Each animal pictured has a mate—and Adam has a mate, too. Children can match the mates as you reinforce the concept that the woman is the only God-created and God-approved mate for man!
We recommend the teacher cuts out the images on page 2 before class and let the students glue them on page one as appropriate.
