Sometimes the simplest visuals are best! This simple set of half hearts illustrates in a very easy-to-understand way the special creation of Adam and Eve and the institution of marriage. Begin with the "dust of the ground" on the back side of the blue half-heart. Turn it over to show the man God made. Then teach the creation of woman with the ribs on the back side of the pink half-heart. Turn it over to show the woman God made. Put the hearts together and talk about how God put them together in one marriage. Add the padlock for "til death do us part." Simple, easy, and effective! Younger students will easily understand this lesson and will want to "do the hearts" often!
