The young Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem when his family went there for the Passover. When his parents found him, they asked why he had done that. He simply stated that he "must be about my Father's business" The chapter ends with "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52).
Our young people today need to know how to apply this lesson to their own lives. What does it look like to be about the Father's business? Just how do they go about increasing in all these ways?
