It is Written

After His baptism, Jesus went into the wilderness. Satan met Him there and tempted Him. Jesus withstood each temptation by quoting Scripture. When we are faced with temptation, we should imitate Jesus by answering with Scripture that instructs us not to do that wrong thing or to DO what we should.

This activity contains an assortment of colored shapes that match a possible temptation (All my friends use that word. It's not that bad") with its Bible verse answer (Let no corrupt communication….Eph. 4:29). Use it to teach how our response to temptation should follow Christ's "It is written."
