The office of elder is the most important on earth. God wants every congregation to have qualified men guiding and shepherding His flock. The book of Acts tells us that as Paul traveled away from Antioch, he established congregations. On his way back to Antioch, Paul ordained them elders in every church. This visual illustrates that aspect of Paul's missionary journey. The visual then shows that although it was the same Holy Spirit behind the choosing of elders, the method today is through the pages of God's Word.
