God gave man a wonderful gift in marriage and made laws regulating it. Sometimes man looks beyond God's plan for marriage and chooses to replace a mate with another. Every state in the United States allows divorce for multiple reasons, but God gives only one:
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. Matthew 19:9 (KJV)
